Hi Emily,

I visited your diabetes web site, there is some great information on it! I'll definately take a look around.

I agree, obesity is a big problem and it need to be controlled. It will be controlled only in a few ways:

- from the home. Parents MUST work with their children to help control their weight. We've now gotten our son into the habit of walking around the house before he sits down. We make him count to 100, then he's allowed to sit down.

- from gov't. Gov't needs to do more to control the obesity epidemic. I remember growing up with public service advertisements about controlling junk food etc.,

- from schools. Schools need to put more emphasis onto educating children on eating healthy foods. My son, who is 4 years old, attends a montessori where they now talk about healthy eating. He understands that chocolate, soda pop and chips are not healthy but can be eaten in moderation.

We need to take a multi-faceted approach to weight loss.

Regards,

I agree with you. But Obesity is the most common disease in all over the world. We should control it at any cost.
